Ingredients

For the yeast dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack yeast (dry yeast)
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 g butter, melted
  • 250 ml milk, warm
  • 50 g butter, soft

For the filling:

  • 100 g almond (s), chopped
  • 75 g almond (s), round
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 125 g raisins

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and mix well with the yeast. Add sugar, egg, salt, butter and milk. Using the dough hook, first work the dough on the lowest, then on the highest level to form a smooth dough.
  2. Cover and let the dough rest in a warm place until it has doubled in height.
  3. Roll out / pull out into a rectangle of approx. 5060 cm and brush with the warm butter. Cut lengthways in the middle.
  4. Filling: mix all ingredients well.
  5. Sprinkle the mixture on the dough so that there is a margin of approx. 2 cm on the inside of the two strips.
  6. Roll up the pieces lengthways from the outside and intertwine them into a wreath.
  7. Place the wreath on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with milk or egg yolk.
  8. Use a knife to cut several 1 cm deep cuts in the smooth areas of the wreath.
  9. When the dough has doubled its height again, bake the wreath at 200 ° C for 25-30 minutes.
