Ingredients

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ glass flour
  • 2 onions)
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g beef oulash, possibly pork oulash
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 cube beef broth
  • some sauce thickener, dark
  • 1 ½ kg potato (s)
  • 6 tablespoon sour cream or tzatziki
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Reibekuchen:
  2. Finely grate the potatoes and an onion. Add egg, flour, salt and pepper and mix everything well.
  3. Meat filling for the potato pancake:
  4. Halve or quarter the mushrooms. Chop an onion and fry it with the mushrooms. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Put aside.
  5. Cut the meat into cubes and fry vigorously. Put the meat and the mushroom and onion mixture in a saucepan, add about 200 ml of water and the beef stock cube. Let simmer for about 30-45 minutes. Season to taste. Thicken the sauce with a little sauce thickener.
  6. Now fry 6 pan-sized potato pancakes from both sides until golden brown. Place each potato pancake on a large plate. Pour the meat sauce on one side of the potato cake and fold the other side over it. Put a tablespoon of sour cream or tzatziki on the potato pancake.
  7. A green salad goes well with it.
