Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums
  • liter ⅛ red wine
  • 90 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 carnation (s)
  • Plum water
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Coriander powder

Instructions

  1. Wash, pat dry, halve and stone the plums.
  2. Bring the fruits to a boil in a saucepan with red wine, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon stick and cloves. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Season the compote with plum water, season with cinnamon and coriander and serve warm or cold.
