Ingredients

  • 1 kg plums, washed and pitted
  • 200 g suar, brown
  • 30 g vanilla suar
  • 500 ml grain or vodka, at least 38% alcohol.
  • Cinnamon powder or orange peel, optional

Instructions

  1. Put the plums in the Thermomix and 20 sec. Puree at level 10. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and 10 sec. mix with level 10. If you like, you can add cinnamon powder and orange peel.
  2. Simmer everything for 5 minutes at 100 ° C on level 3. Then let cool down at level 3 for 5 minutes at 70 ° C. Pour the grain into the mixing bowl 2 minutes before the end of the boil.
  3. Strain the plum liqueur through a sieve, pour it into a hot-rinsed bottle and chill.
  4. Makes about 1 liter.
