Ingredients

  • 500 g plum (s)
  • 5 clove (s)
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 liter brandy (cognac)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Layer the plums with the spices and sugar in an earthenware pot or in a mason jar. Pour brandy over it. Close the vessel (possibly with aluminum foil). Let stand for 4 to 6 weeks.
  2. Also tastes very good over ice cream. Prepare like rum pot.
  3. Tip: Goes well with mirabelle plums or apricots or mixed fruits.
