Polenta With Cheese

Polenta with cheese is a great side dish and a separate dish.

Ingredients

  • Corn flour – 1 glass
  • Water – 1.5 cups
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Hard cheese – 30 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Prepare food. A 200 ml beaker was used as a measuring glass.
  2. Boil water, salt. Add butter to boiling salted water.
  3. Then add cornmeal to the water with oil and, without stirring, boil.
  4. Cook the corn porridge over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Stir with a wooden spatula until smooth.
  5. Then cover and cook the porridge for another 15-20 minutes.
  6. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  7. Sprinkle ready-made polenta with grated cheese.
