  • 400 g suar
  • 250 g butter
  • 5 tablespoon cocoa powder (no instant powder)
  • 1 cup water
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 4 egg (s)
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Mix the sugar, butter, cocoa powder and water until frothy. First take about 1/2 cup of this mass for the later glaze.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder and eggs to the remaining dough and mix everything together to form a smooth dough. Grease a ball cup pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and pour in the batter.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 30 minutes, then cover with aluminum foil and then bake for another 20 minutes.
  4. Let the finished cake cool for about 10 minutes in the baking pan and then let it cool down on a wire rack. Brush the cooled cake with the previously removed batter.
  5. Note: You can also use chocolate icing for it.
