Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g lard or butter
  • some lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g poppy seeds, round
  • 100 g plum jam
  • some powdered sugar for dusting
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, lard (both room temperature), lemon peel and powdered sugar with a hand mixer until frothy. Knead in the flour and poppy seeds.
  2. Shape the dough into small walnut-sized balls. Place on a baking sheet and make hollows in the biscuits with your finger. Fill these hollows with plum jam.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 10 minutes and then dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
