Pork Kebab on a Baking Sheet

Is it possible to make a kebab at home? Fry pork skewers on a baking sheet in the oven. For a side dish, you can offer mashed potatoes, boiled crumbly rice or potatoes, spicy sauce and green onions, a salad of tomatoes and cucumbers.

  • Lean pork – 500 g
  • Pickled (or canned) apples – 2-5 pcs. (taste)
  • Tomatoes – 3-5 pcs. (taste)
  • Onions – 2-3 pcs.
  • or sweet pepper – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil (or butter) – 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce (or spicy) – 50 ml (to taste)
  • Pepper – 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon (to taste)


  1. Wash and dry the meat. Cut the meat into cubes.
  2. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper. Mix.
  3. Cut the apples into rings (about 1 cm thick).
  4. Wash the tomatoes, cut in half.
  5. Peel the onions, wash, cut into rings (about 1 cm thick). If you took pepper, you need to wash it, cut it, remove the seeds.
  6. If desired, the onion can be steamed in boiling water for several minutes.
  7. Put food alternately on skewers.
  8. Then brush with butter or vegetable oil and soy (or spicy) sauce. Grease a baking sheet with oil, put prepared skewers on it.
  9. Fry the shish kebab in an electric grill or hot oven on a greased baking sheet at a temperature of 200 degrees until tender (about 50 minutes). From time to time, pour over the meat with vegetable oil and soy (or spicy) sauce.
  10. Pork shashlik on a baking sheet is ready. As soon as the meat is ready, serve immediately.
