Cooking porridge with pumpkin in the microwave has many advantages, the dish is prepared much faster, there is no likelihood of burning, which is very often the case when cooking in a saucepan.

Rice – 1 Glass
Water – 1.5 Glasses
Milk – 2 Glasses
Pumpkin – 300 Grams
Butter – 50 grams
Sugar – 1-2 tbsp
Salt – 1 Pinch

Prepare your ingredients.
Rinse the rice under running water several times, pour it into a deep container with a large volume. The container must be suitable for use in a microwave oven.
Cover the rice with water, add a little salt. It is better to use just boiling water, so the rice will cook faster in the microwave.
Place the container with the contents in the microwave oven, set the maximum power (about 800 W.) You do not need to cover the container with a lid.
Cook the rice for 15 minutes, during which time it will completely absorb the liquid and swell well. Remove from oven.
Prepare the pumpkin at the same time. Peel, remove the seeds inside. Grate the pulp on a coarse grater, add to the rice, mix.
Pour milk over the rice and pumpkin. The milk must be warm.
Put the container back in the microwave, cook for 15 minutes.
After a while, add granulated sugar and a little butter to the porridge, put in the microwave for another 2 minutes. Leave the porridge in the microwave for a while without opening the door so that the dish comes to readiness.
Spread the prepared porridge on portioned plates, add more butter, serve.
