Ingredients

  • 1 pear (s), firm
  • 1 lemon (s), squeezed
  • 0.25 liter ¼ port wine
  • 1 vanilla pod, cut open
  • 2 slices goat cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • Balsamic

Instructions

  1. Peel the pear with a peeler, cut in half and cut out the core. Then drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Bring the port wine with the vanilla pod and 1 teaspoon brown sugar to the boil, add the pear halves and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Then place the pear halves in a baking dish, place the goat cheese on top and press firmly. Finally, pile up a lot of brown sugar on top and bake in the oven at 200 degrees until the sugar has melted and browned nicely.
  4. Let the port simmer until it thickens like syrup, then add a dash of balsamic vinegar and make patterns with the mixture on the plate.
