Ingredients

  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), the grated zest
  • 125 ml oil
  • 125 ml water
  • 320 g flour
  • 5 egg whites, beaten

For covering:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs quark (10% fat)
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • Fat and flour for the tray

Instructions

  1. For the topping, mix together sugar, egg yolk, vanilla sugar and quark. Fold in the egg whites. Pour the mixture into a piping bag.
  2. For the dough, stir together the sugar, egg yolk, vanilla sugar, salt and grated lemon zest until frothy. Gradually stir in the oil and water. Finally fold in the flour and egg whites. Spread the dough on a greased and floured tray.
  3. Sprinkle the quark mixture onto the dough in a grid shape. Bake at 170 ° C (electric stove, top / bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. When cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
