Ingredients

  • 100 g onion (s)
  • 750 g potato (s)
  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon mugwort, dried
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 apple, more tart
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • Salt and pepper, whiter

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onions. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes and carrots.
  2. Fry the onion cubes in the butter over a mild heat until translucent, then add the potatoes and carrots and fry over a higher heat. Season with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar and mugwort. Pour in the broth. Cover and cook on a mild heat for 15 minutes, turning carefully every now and then.
  3. Peel and quarter the apple, remove the core and dice the pulp. Scatter the apple cubes over the vegetables and steam everything for a few more minutes. The apple cubes shouldn`t disintegrate. Then mix everything together, season to taste again and serve.
