Potato, Bacon and Leek Pan with Peppers

Instructions

  1. Do not cook the potatoes too soft in the skin, peel them and cut them into not too thin (half) slices.
  2. Cut the bacon into cubes and fry brown in a non-stick pan without adding any additional fat. Cut the leek into thin slices, the bell pepper into strips or cubes and add to the pan with the leek to the bacon cubes. Fry or braise briefly until the desired firmness is reached, do not let the leek burn! Now add a little salt and pepper to the potato slices, add to the pan and fry a little. Season well with salt and pepper (possibly also with a little paprika powder).
  3. A quick everyday dish with a salad.
  4. Tip: If you want, you may also mix corn.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
