Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onion and sweat in a saucepan until translucent. Deglaze with the vegetable stock. Add the diced potatoes with the chopped lovage and cook until cooked.
  2. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry them in a pan with a little oil. When the potatoes are done, add the bacon to the potatoes in the stock and puree everything. If you like, you can put some of the potato cubes and the bacon aside beforehand and then add it again as a filler.
  3. Heat the sausages in the soup. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Sprinkle fresh herbs on the soup before serving.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
