Potato Baskets with Herring “Cream”

The recipe for a bright, appetizing appetizer for the festive table – potato tartlets with curd and herring filling.

To prepare potato tartlets with herring filling, take potatoes, hard cheese, egg, cottage cheese, salted herring fillet, apple, spinach, spices.
How to make potato baskets with herring “cream”:
Rub the peeled potatoes on a larger grater. Squeeze out excess liquid.
Add the egg and finely chopped cheese to the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients and season with spices.
Put the potato mass in 1-1.5 tablespoons in silicone muffin tins. We distribute so that it is empty inside. We send to a hot oven for 20-30 minutes. We bake at a temperature of 180-190 degrees.
Now let’s get down to stuffing. We send peeled and chopped herring, finely chopped sour apple, chopped spinach, cottage cheese of any fat content to a bowl. Puree with a blender. Pepper and salt to taste.
We place the curd and herring filling in chilled baskets using a pastry bag.
We decorate snack potato baskets with red caviar and serve.
