Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and wrap in aluminum foil and bake them in the oven for about 1 hour at 200 degrees.
  2. In the meantime you can prepare the sail and cut the sausage or cheese into 3 strips of different sizes and put the largest piece on a skewer at the bottom, then the middle and finally the smallest piece as a sail.
  3. If necessary, mix the quark with herbs.
  4. When the potatoes are ready, take them out of the foil and cut off a small edge lengthways at the top. Put the potato on the plate and surround it with quark or sour cream (the dip represents the water) and stick the skewer into the potato as a sail.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
