Instructions

  1. Peel the raw potatoes and cut into slices (3 - 5 mm thick). Divide the broccoli florets (halve or quarter if necessary). Also use the stems.
  2. Place a layer of potato slices in the baking dish in a fan shape. Season with salt and pepper. A layer of broccoli on top. Pour ham cubes on top (doesn`t have to be, tastes just as good without). Another layer of potatoes (seasoning), a layer of broccoli, etc. Always season the potatoes with salt (or herb salt) and pepper - very important.
  3. Finally, spread the gratin cheese over it, dilute the cream with a dash of water and pour over the gratin. Then bake for 50 - 60 minutes at 180 - 200 ° C in the oven with circulating air. The best thing to do is switch off the oven, cover the whole thing with aluminum foil and let it sit for another 20 minutes.
  4. By the way, it tastes twice as good when it is warmed up, so it can be prepared well and warmed up later.
