Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s), waxy
  • 400 g Brussels sprouts (frozen)
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 300 g cheese (e.. Gouda), for sprinklin
  • pepper
  • salt
  • Bell pepper (s), dried, ground, spicy (otherwise parpika powder, spicy)
  • nutmeg
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and cook them in salted water until cooked. Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion and fry in a pan with a little oil. Add the sliced mushrooms and fry. Add the minced meat and fry. Cut the defrosted or fresh Brussels sprouts in halves and add to the pan. Top up with the milk. Season to taste with pepper, salt, nutmeg and paprika. The paprika powder (at least the crushed one) is firstly a nice splash of color and it also makes the food smarter.
  2. Put the cooked potato slices in a baking dish (does not have to be greased), tip the pan over, stir once and sprinkle with the cheese.
  3. Since everything is already done, the casserole only needs about 10-15 minutes in the oven (about 200 degrees in the electric oven) so that the cheese becomes crispy.
