Instructions

  1. Cut the peeled onions into small cubes and sauté them lightly brown in a saucepan with butter over low heat. In the meantime, peel the carrots, chop them into thin slices and add to the brown onions. After 5 minutes, fill up with the warm water, add a pinch of salt and increase the heat.
  2. Then peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes and add them. When the soup boils, let it simmer over low heat (about 20 minutes) and add the spices. Can also be thickened with flour or starch as desired.
  3. Tip: Fry 100 g of diced beef with the onions.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
