Potato and meat recipes are traditional for the family lunch menu – it’s always hearty and tasty. Here is a recipe for casseroles with meat and potatoes will allow you to feed your family tasty, dense, and fast.

Ingredients
Potatoes – 600 g
Meat – 200 g
Milk – 40 ml
Onions – 40 g
Sour cream – 40 g
Butter – 20-40 g
White crackers – 10 g
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Salt – 2 teaspoon (to taste)
Directions
Prepare minced meat: boil (or stew) the meat. Wash the meat, put it in a saucepan, add cold water, bring to a boil. Cook over low heat, covered, until tender (about an hour).
Cut the meat into pieces. Pass it through a meat grinder. Peel the onion, wash, chop finely.
Heat the pan, add half the oil. Put the onion in hot oil. Fry the onion in 1/2 part oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
Then mix it with meat and salt everything.
Peel potatoes, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, season with salt. Cook it in salted water over low heat, covered, until tender (about 20 minutes). Drain the water, pass the potatoes through a meat grinder.
Heat the milk. Pour over the mashed potatoes with hot milk. Stir the puree and cool.
Beat the eggs. Pour in raw beaten eggs. Stir the puree again.
Turn on the oven. Grease a baking dish (or frying pan) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put half of the mashed potatoes in an even layer in the form (in the pan). Place the minced meat on top.
Then cover it with the other half of the puree. Grease all this with 1/2 part sour cream and the remaining butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Put the dish (or frying pan) in the oven on the middle shelf, bake the casserole with meat and potatoes in the oven until golden brown at a temperature of 200 degrees (about 25-30 minutes). Potato casserole with meat is ready.
Before serving the potato casserole with meat on the table, pour over the remaining sour cream.
