Any housewife is periodically tormented by the question: what to cook for dinner? I propose a recipe for a delicious and quick potato casserole.

Ingredients
Potatoes – 1.2-1.4 kg
Minced pork and beef (or other) – 400-500 g
Hard cheese – 100 g
Bulb onions – 2-3 pcs.
Egg – 1 pc.
Vegetable oil – for frying
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Spices (or, for example, cognac) – to taste
Directions
We puree the potatoes boiled until tender in any convenient way, if desired, you can add a piece of butter. Salt the cooled potatoes and add the egg. We mix.
Fry finely chopped onion in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown. Add minced meat and fry for 7 minutes, until tender. A few minutes before cooking, salt, pepper, and add your favorite spices. Instead of spices, today I added a little cognac – the alcohol evaporates quickly, and an interesting aroma remains.
Putting together the casserole: put half the potatoes in a baking dish (mine is 24×17 cm), level them. Distribute the minced meat to the potatoes.
Cover the minced meat with the remaining half of the potatoes. We level.
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the casserole.
