Potato Casserole with Tomatoes “Serpentine”

We will diversify our table and bring bright colors into our life by preparing delicious potato casserole as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 5 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Olive or vegetable oil – 50 ml
  • Dried basil – 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 3 teeth.

Direction

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut into 5 mm thick slices.
  2. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil put potato slices. Salt to taste. Peel the garlic, crush it in a mortar, or press. Add basil and oil, stir.
  3. Lubricate the potatoes with plenty of spicy butter with a silicone brush. Wash the tomatoes, cut into slices, lay on top of the potatoes, add a little salt.
  4. Peel the onion, cut into rings, place on the tomatoes, creating the illusion of a serpentine. Sprinkle lightly with oil.
  5. Bake potato casserole with tomatoes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Ready-made potato casserole with tomatoes.
