Potato Egg

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut in half lengthways.
  2. Heat some butter in a small coated pan and fry the potato halves on the underside until golden. Then turn the potatoes over on the flat cut side, push them all around to the edge of the pan and place the fried egg in the middle. Potatoes should be enclosed with egg white that everything is nicely connected. Fry on medium heat until the fried egg is ready. Season with salt and a little paprika powder and remove with a pan lifter.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
