Ingredients

  • 800 g jacket potato (s)
  • 250 g meat (ready-made yros)
  • 1 large red pepper (s), diced
  • 1 medium mushrooms, cut
  • 0.5 ½ cup cream
  • 0.5 ½ cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 200 g cheese, for ratinatin

Instructions

  1. Fry the gyros in a non-stick pan, then add the peppers and the drained mushrooms. Continue simmering for 10 minutes on a low flame. Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and place them alternately with the meat in a baking dish. Lightly salt and pepper the potatoes. Mix the cream and milk and season lightly with salt and pepper. Press in the garlic cloves and pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with the cheese and cook covered for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Then remove the lid and leave in the oven until the cheese gets a nice color.
  2. Instead of the cream-milk mixture, you can of course only use cream.
