Ingredients

  • 3 stalks thyme
  • 40 g butter or mararine
  • 750 ml vegetable stock (instant)
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • 1 small Head pointed cabbage (approx. 400 g)
  • 1 ¼ kg potato (s), large
  • 100 g ham, cooked, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon parmesan, grated

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion. Finely chop the thyme. Melt fat. Sauté the onion in it. Add flour and sweat. Add the stock and cream, stirring constantly, and bring to the boil. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme.
  2. Detach the cabbage leaves from the stalk one by one. Peel, wash and thinly slice the potatoes. Put the prepared ingredients and ham in layers with the sauce in a large baking dish. Finish with sauce. Sprinkle the parmesan on top and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for 45-50 minutes.
