Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s), floury boilin
  • 100 g cream
  • 125 ml milk
  • 300 g spinach leaves (frozen)
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • 20 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and sweat the finely chopped onion and the pressed garlic in it. Then add the frozen spinach and steam for about 5 minutes. Put the pan away.
  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Grease a baking dish and place 2 layers of potato slices in it in a fan shape. Salt and pepper each layer. Now distribute the spinach on the potatoes and also season with salt and pepper. Top the spinach with the remaining potatoes and spread the grated cheese on the top layer. Spread flakes of butter on the cheese so that it becomes nice and crispy.
  3. Now mix the cream with the milk and a pinch of nutmeg. Pour this mixture sideways into the baking dish. Now bake the casserole at 180 ° C (electric stove) for 50 minutes. A green salad tastes good with it.
