Potato Sticks with Cheese (in the Oven)

Potatoes in the oven in a new way! Amazingly simple and delicious cheese potato sticks recipe! I cook like that very often. Perfect both as a side dish and as an appetizer. Try it for health, cook with pleasure!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (peeled) – 500 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 1 tbsp
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp + for lubrication
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender (20-25 minutes). Mash mashed potatoes. We taste it for salt and, if necessary, add a little.
  2. Add vegetable oil, sour cream, garlic squeezed through a press, black pepper and flour.
  3. Mix well. Here, in still hot potatoes, rub the cheese on a fine grater. We mix.
  4. Let the puree cool slightly, then add the egg and stir.
  5. Put the potato mass into a pastry bag with a round nozzle, turn on the oven and heat it to 200 degrees.
  6. We place the potato sticks on a prepared baking sheet covered with baking paper (we have it covered with siliconized parchment). If using regular baking paper, brush it with butter (a mixture of vegetable and butter) and dust it with flour, if desired.
  7. Lightly coat the potato sticks with vegetable oil. We bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for minutes. Focus on your oven, we need a golden crust.
