Instructions

  1. The potatoes are washed and peeled if necessary. Then they are placed one by one and lengthwise on a wooden skewer. This requires strength and, last but not least, a little tact. Plan in a few more skewers than you have potatoes the first time, as they break easily. Now cut into the potatoes in a spiral. The paring knife has proven itself for this. First cut the potato at an angle until you hit the wooden skewer with the tip of the knife. Now you continue to hold the knife at an angle and turn the potato until you have cut it completely into a spiral. Gently pull them apart on the skewer. A glaze is now made from the melted butter, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper. With this you coat the twister. They are then placed in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes at 190 ° C convection. Sour cream dips or tomato ketchup go well with it.
