Potatoes Baked with Onions

The dish is very simple to prepare – you don’t even need to peel the potatoes. Potatoes, oiled with vegetable oil with the addition of Provencal herbs, are baked with a lot of onions. This gives the potatoes juiciness and a mouth-watering taste. Such a fragrant ruddy potato is good even without meat!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 700 g
  • Onions – 350 g
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml
  • Dried Provencal herbs – 1 teaspoon with a slide
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products. We turn on the oven to heat up to a temperature of 180 degrees.
  2. We wash the potatoes well (you do not need to peel them), cut them into slices about 1 cm thick, and send them to a bowl.
  3. Add vegetable oil, salt and Provencal herbs to a bowl of potatoes.
  4. Stir and leave for 10 minutes.
  5. Peel the onions, rinse and cut into slices about 0.5 cm thick.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and evenly spread the onion circles in one layer.
  7. Put the potatoes on top of the onion. Pour the potatoes evenly over the top with the mixture remaining in the bowl.
  8. We send a baking sheet with potatoes and onions to a preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  9. The potatoes baked with onions in the oven are ready. Put the potatoes and onions on a plate and serve.
