Potatoes in the Oven with Cheese

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 800 Grams
  • Hard cheese – 200 Grams
  • Milk – 2 Glasses
  • Eggs – 1 Piece
  • Vegetable oil – 4 Art. spoons
  • Garlic – 1 Clove
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper – To taste

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Grate a baking dish with a clove of garlic and add oil.
  2. Grate the cheese. Peel the potatoes and cut into rings. Stir the potatoes with half the grated cheese, salt and pepper. Place the prepared potatoes in a mold.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk and egg. Beat with a whisk until smooth. Pour potatoes with the resulting mixture.
  4. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. You can check if the potatoes are ready with a toothpick. Remove the dish from the oven and cover with the second half of the grated cheese. Place the mold back in the oven and bake the potatoes until they have a crispy cheese crust. This will take about 10 minutes. Place the dish on the top of the oven so that the crust is more fried.
