Potatoes Stewed with Sausages and Beans

Stewed potatoes with sausages and beans are a tasty and satisfying dish that also cooks quickly. For its preparation, beans canned in tomato are used, thanks to which all components are prepared in tomato sauce and acquire a bright, rich taste. Add some spices and aromatic herbs – and delicious dinner or lunch that will feed the whole family is ready!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 500 g (6 pcs.)
  • Sausages – 300 g
  • Canned beans in tomato – 460 g
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Curry – 2/3 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 45 ml (3 tablespoons)
  • Fresh dill – 15 g (4-5 branches)

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into small slices.
  2. In a frying pan preheated with vegetable oil, fry the potatoes for about 7 minutes, until browned.
  3. Free the sausages from the shell and cut them into thin slices.
  4. Add sausages to the potatoes.
  5. Fry everything together for another 3-4 minutes. Then pour 100 ml of water into the pan, cover with a lid.
  6. Simmer everything over low heat for about 10 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked.
  7. Then add the beans along with the tomato sauce (I have 260 g of beans and 200 ml of sauce).
  8. Peel the garlic, chop it with a knife and add to the pan.
  9. Add curry and ground black pepper there.
  10. We simmer everything without a lid for another 5-7 minutes. Taste it 1-2 minutes before the end of cooking and, if necessary, add salt.
  11. Chop the dill and add to the potatoes.
  12. Mix everything and turn off the fire.
  13. Potatoes stewed with sausages and beans are ready.
