Ingredients

  • 300 g shrimp (s), deveined and shelled
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 150 ml olive oil
  • 150 ml oil, neutral (safflower oil, sunflower oil)
  • 1 pinch (s) chili powder, from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) coarse sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped, fresh, smooth

Instructions

  1. If necessary, let the shrimp thaw slowly in the refrigerator, rinse and pat dry completely. The best way to do this is to put it on kitchen paper and dry it carefully.
  2. Cut the garlic into fine slices and place in a saucepan with the two oils. Heat the oil, do not let it sizzle. Take off the stove immediately. Place the prawns in a freezer bag, pour the garlic oil mixture over them and leave to marinate in a cool place for at least 6 hours, preferably longer.
  3. If you have, you take small clay bowls (water them for at least 3 hours), add the prawns with the oil, season with 1 pinch of sea salt and chilli and put the bowls in the 250 degree oven for a few minutes. As soon as the oil sizzles, the prawns are ready - this takes about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove, sprinkle with parsley and serve with white bread.
  5. You can of course prepare this snack with king prawns and, if necessary, also add clams - it is also very tasty and looks nice.
