Prunes With Walnuts

An amazing treat that we have enjoyed since childhood. We offer you to remember the unique and original taste of prunes with nuts, with delicate sour cream. Delight your loved ones with dessert on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

  • Prunes – 300 g
  • Walnuts – 100 g
  • Sour cream – 1 glass
  • Sugar – 60 g
  • Caramel (optional) – to taste
  • For decoration:
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Chocolate hearts

Direction

  1. Pour prunes in a deep bowl with boiled water and leave until swelling (about 20-30 minutes).
  2. When the dried fruit is sufficiently soft and the stone separates well, drain the water, rinse the prunes and remove the seeds from it.
  3. Roast the walnuts in the oven for 10 minutes. Stir them several times until they are browned.
  4. Now start to plum. Quarters of nuts should take the place of seeds in dried fruits.
  5. Make a tender sour cream. When rubbing sour cream with sugar, achieve an airy and homogeneous mass without sugar grains.
  6. Sprinkle the prunes stuffed with nuts with sour cream and a little caramel.
  7. Decorate the top of the dessert with nuts, chocolate chips, and hearts – a symbol of Valentine’s Day. Dessert is ready.
