A very quick puff pastry snack with cheese and ketchup. Cheese puffs are perfect for children’s parties, but men will also love to crunch this beer snack in front of the TV.
Cook: 30 mins
Servings: 4
Ingredients
Puff pastry – 300 g
Hard cheese – 100 g
Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Ground black pepper – to taste
Flour – for rolling out dough
Directions
Prepare food to make cheese puffs. Defrost the dough beforehand.
Sprinkle flour on baking paper, spread out the dough, roll out with a rolling pin into a layer 0.3-0.4 cm thick.
Brush the dough with a thin layer of ketchup.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the ketchup. Roll the puff pastry stuffed into a roll, pinch the seam slightly.
Place the cheese roll on a hard surface, seam side down. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into small curly rolls 1 cm wide.
Place baking paper on a baking sheet. Put the puff pastry blanks on the paper with the cut side up, slightly flatten them with your palm.
Bake the cheese puffs in a preheated oven at 180-190 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Cool the finished puff curls with cheese and serve.
