Puff Heart Tartlets with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 350 g
  • or fresh puff pastry – 350 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Champignons – 350 g
  • Sour cream – 4 tbsp
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. How to make puff heart tartlets with mushrooms:
  2. Roll 350 grams of puff pastry into a layer, 0.5 centimeters thick. Cut out 10 hearts using the shape.
    (You can prepare this dish from instant puff pastry or from unleavened puff pastry, the recipes for which are listed on the link in the list of ingredients.)
  3. In the center of each heart, cut out another heart with a smaller shape. Put everything together, without disassembling it, on a baking sheet. Lubricate the “hearts” with yolk diluted in half with water. We bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
  4. While the “hearts” are baking, let’s prepare the filling. Heat 50 grams of butter in a frying pan, add 2 chopped garlic cloves.
  5. Add 350 grams of coarsely chopped champignons. Fry, add one teaspoon of salt and season with half a teaspoon of ground black pepper.
  6. Simmer the mushrooms until all the liquid has evaporated, remove from heat and add 4 tablespoons of sour cream, mix.
  7. We take out the finished hearts from the oven, press the cut out centers with your finger.
  8. We fill with mushroom filling.
  9. Decorate ready-made puff heart tartlets with mushrooms with herbs, fresh vegetables and serve as a hot snack.
