Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry, rectangular, frozen
  • 0.5 tube ½ tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon oil (garlic)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon spice paste (herbal)
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 2 tablespoon herbs Provence
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slices salami, large
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda), rated

Instructions

  1. Remove the puff pastry rectangles from the frozen food and let them thaw. Then cut in the middle and place on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  2. Put the tomato paste in a bowl and mix with both oils and the water. Add herbs and stir well. Season to taste and possibly also add herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the salami and ham into suitable pieces. Spread the tomato sauce on the puff pastry squares, alternately top with salami and boiled ham (I like to make a tray for each type). Scatter Gouda cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° - 200 ° C for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. You can vary the topping with e.g. vegetables, fish, other cheeses such as mozzarella etc.
