Ingredients

  • 2 packs puff pastry (quick puff pastry) à 450 g
  • 300 g nuts or almonds, round
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoon cocoa powder, (Kaba)
  • 300 g cream
  • Cake icing, (powdered sugar icing)

Instructions

  1. Mix the nuts with the sugar, Kaba and the cream.
  2. Brush half of the puff pastry with the nut mixture and place the other half on top. Cut into strips approx. 1.5 cm wide and twist these strips twice.
  3. Bake for a good 10 minutes at 220 ° C, then brush with the icing sugar while still warm.
