Instructions

  1. Grease and flour the bundt pan well. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Mix the eggs, butter, sugar, quark and the spices until frothy. If the quark is too dry, just add some milk or cream. Then fold in the flour and baking powder, and finally the raisins. Put the dough in the Gugelhupf pan and bake for about 60 minutes at 180 to 200 ° C. Then dust with powdered sugar.
  3. The cake stays nice and fresh for a few days and doesn`t dry out too quickly. If you don`t like raisins, you can replace them with pieces of mandarin. But let these drain well and fold them in very carefully.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
