Ingredients

  • 150 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 banana (s), mashed

For the dough:

  • 100 g butter or mararine
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 200 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • possibly powdered sugar
  • possibly cake icing, chocolate

Instructions

  1. The amount is enough for a bundt pan of 22 cm or a springform pan of 26 cm.
  2. For the marble mass, mix the first 5 ingredients together and set aside. For the batter, stir the butter or margarine with the sugar and vanilla sugar until soft. Gradually stir in the eggs well. Add the quark, mix well. Mix in the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a buttered and floured bundt cake pan, pour the banana quark mixture over it, use a spoon to spread the rest of the batter over it. The dough cover does not have to be tight! Now work with a fork all around in a spiral through the dough.
  4. Bake at 170 ° for about 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool in the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or cover with chocolate icing.
