Ingredients

  • 275 g butter or mararine
  • 500g flour
  • 350 grams sugar
  • 50 g almond (s), round
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 glass sour cherries
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 75 ml milk
  • 75 g whipped cream
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 lemon (s), grated zest
  • Flour, for dusting
  • Fat, for the shape
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt the fat, knead with the flour, 250 g sugar, egg yolks, cinnamon and salt to form a crumbly dough. Cover and chill for approx. 30 minutes.
  2. Drain the cherries. Mix the quark, milk, cream, vanilla sugar, custard powder, 100g sugar, eggs and lemon zest. Grease 2/3 of the crumble dough in a springform pan (26cm) as the base and edge.
  3. Dust the cherries with flour, pour the quark mixture on the dough, spread the cherries on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven (fan oven 150 °) for 45-50 minutes, about 30 minutes before the end of the baking time, spread the remaining dough as a crumble on the cake.
  5. Let the finished cake cool a little on a wire rack, remove from the tin and let cool down completely. Dust with powdered sugar
