Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some lemon peel, grated or lemon flavor
  • 250 g quark
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 point baking powder
  • 100 g sultanas or currants
  • some cream or milk, if necessary
  • a lot powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, a pinch of salt and lemon zest or flavor until frothy. Then stir in the quark until the mixture is nice and smooth. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve over and work everything into a dough. Finally work in the sultanas / currants. Possibly add some cream or milk if the quark is very dry.
  2. Bake in a prepared cup cake pan in a hot oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for about 1 hour.
  3. Then rub generously with powdered sugar. Tip: can be brushed with melted butter beforehand!
