Ingredients
- 300 ml water, lukewarm
- 1 cube yeast
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- 500g flour
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 25 g oil
- 100 g fried onions

- Mix the water with the yeast. Mix the flour, salt, sugar and fried onions in another bowl, then add the oil and the yeast mixture.
- Mix the ingredients with a mixer until the batter separates from the edge of the bowl. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Shape the dough into a baguette and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cut the surface of the baguette with a knife and bake for about 20-30 minutes.
- The baguette can also be baked without fried onions, then simply leave them out. I could well imagine that it would also taste good with sun-dried tomatoes or walnuts.
