Ingredients

  • 3 cucumber (s)
  • salt
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 30 g butter
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 2 tablespoon dill, finely chopped
  • 100 ml broth
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber, cut in half lengthways, core and cut into 2 cm wide pieces. Peel the onion and garlic and cut into thin slices. Froth the butter in a saucepan, sweat the onion and garlic in it. Add the cucumber and steam for 2 minutes. Season with salt, sugar and pepper. Pour in the white wine, add the stock and let it boil down. Then put the cream in the pan. Bring to the boil and cook over medium heat for approx. 3-4 minutes. Cut the ham into fine strips and add to the cucumbers together with the dill.
  2. Best served with boiled potatoes.
