Quick Pickled Cabbage Ingredients

  • White cabbage – 1 kg
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Sweet red pepper – 1 pc.
Quick Pickled Cabbage

For the marinade:

  • Water – 500 ml
  • Vinegar (table 9%) – 6 tbsp
  • Sugar – 7 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil – 80 ml

Quick Pickled Cabbage Instructions

  1. Add salt, sugar, and sunflower oil to boiling water. I bring it to a boil. Remove from heat and add vinegar. The marinade is ready.

  2. Shred cabbage, grated carrots on a coarse grater, cut pepper into strips. I mix everything and put it in jars.

  3. Pour the cabbage with carrots and pepper marinade (still warm). I put the cabbage in the refrigerator.
  4. In 12 hours, the quick pickled cabbage is ready!
