  • 250 g spelled flour type 630
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ dry yeast
  • 175 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt

  • some fat, e.g. margarine and some flour for the pan

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add water and oil. Using a dough hook, knead the dough well until it is supple. Be careful, the dough is a bit sticky!
  2. Grease a muffin tin and dust it lightly with flour.
  3. Shape balls with wet hands (they don`t have to be round or beautiful) and place in the troughs of the tray. I like to sprinkle sesame seeds on the rolls, but depending on your preference, you can vary it with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, etc.
  4. Put the tray in the cold oven on the middle rail and set the temperature to 200 ° C top / bottom heat. Bake the rolls for about 20-30 minutes, until they are golden yellow and crispy. The exact baking time depends on the particular oven.
  5. The stated amount of dough makes approx. 6 - 8 small rolls.
  6. The delicious rolls taste great with homemade jam or a nut spread.
