Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful raisins
  • cinnamon powder (approx. 1/2 teaspoon)
  • honey or
  • Sugar, brown

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to the boil. Add the quinoa and simmer for five minutes. In the meantime, cut the apple into thin slices or bite-sized pieces. Add the apple pieces, raisins and cinnamon to the quinoa. Let simmer until the water is soaked up. Sweeten with honey or brown sugar as desired and serve while hot. This fits e.g., hot milk.
