Instructions

  1. For fresh fruits: wash and chop the strawberries and lemon.
  2. For frozen fruit: Thaw in the microwave. Please be careful, frozen fruits have more juice. It`s better to take a little less, otherwise the jar will be too tight.
  3. Put everything together with the sugar in a mason jar - I took a 1.5l glass - and fill up with the vodka or grain. Swirl so that everything mixes well with the sugar. Let stand for at least 6 weeks, swirling every few days so that the sugar dissolves.
  4. After 6 weeks, catch the fruit with a colander and then let the liquid run through a coffee filter. Fill in bottles.
  5. Makes a great gift. I made my liqueur just before Lent, then it will be ready by Easter.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
