Rassolnik with Canned Salmon

An unusual rassolnik with canned salmon is a soup that you will want to cook more than once.

- Cut the carrot into strips.
- Cut the onion and cucumbers into small cubes.
- Cut the potatoes into medium cubes and put them to simmer in 2 liters of water together with the rice.
- Fry the onions with carrots in vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- After the carrots and onions are done, add the tomato paste, cucumbers, and 0.5 cups of water, and stew them for 15 minutes.
- Send the contents of the frying pan to the potatoes and rice into the pot. Stir everything.
- Add the canned salmon and salt to taste.
- Before removing the rassolnik from the fire, add the finely chopped garlic and lemon zest.
