Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 1 glass red grits (alternatively cherry grits)
  • 3 cups whipped cream
  • 3 packs cream stabilizer
  • 1 packet biscuits (shortbread biscuits)

For the cast:

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • 125 g palm fat (e.. palmin)
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dough ingredients together until foamy and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes. Topping: Boil the 2 packs of red groats with 1/4 l water, add 4-5 tablespoons of sugar, stir in 1 glass of red groats while warm, pour onto the baked dough and allow to cool. Then whip the cream and cream stiffener and spread it on the grits. The shortbread biscuits are spread over the whipped cream. Liquefy the fat for the topping and gradually pour it over to the other ingredients. Then spread over the biscuits. The recipe makes a baking sheet full. It`s best to cut after it has cooled for a few hours.
